Winona is about 3 years old, and she weighs… are you ready for it? 101 pounds! This big girl knows how to sit for treats (we may recommend low calorie treats from now on) and she enjoys being around people. Winona must meet any resident dog(s) in a potential new home, to make sure they get along. Here at the shelter, Winona protects her food from other dogs, so feeding separately would be recommended in a home with multiple animals.. This cheerful, energetic girl knows how to sit and shake for treats, is housebroken, and crate trained. Rosie's previous owner writes, "Rosie is best in a home without other dogs and cats. She is not bothered by children, but can be pushy so probably best with older kids. Rosie loves to sit, lay, and sleep close to you. Carolina is one of our longest residents and has been overlooked for too long! This floofy princess will be very visible in your home (especially if there's food) but isn't underfoot or inclined to be a lap cat. Carolina likes people to ask permission to touch her fluff and won't harass your visitors. An adult home would be best for her, and other cats are fine as long as they don't expect a playmate. Gracie is very good company, but does not enjoy being picked up or held. We believe she did not have the opportunity as a kitten and it makes her uncomfortable. She likes to play with friendly cats, and is currently getting along with Cora. Gracie would do well in a stable home without very young kids or dogs. Meet Markie, the one-year-old Calico cat with eyes that'll make your heart melt like butter on a hot pancake! Wrapped in her soft fur coat, she's a born entertainer, always ready to play hide and seek with her toys. But don't be fooled by her little bursts of energy, because when it's time to snuggle, she's more than happy to curl up on your lap for a snooze. Markie's a social butterfly, ready to make friends with humans or fellow felines, no problem. So, if you're ready for a lifetime of love and laughs, Markie's your feline soulmate! She is a smart pup who is crate and house trained, and knows her basic commands. She is working on leash walking and would benefit from ongoing training and exercise. Dolly's favorite pastime is zipping around a yard, splashing in pools, and chasing her favorite ball. Meet MUMBLES! Mumbles is a 3 year old cattle dog mix. He is such a affectionate pup but does require an owner who understands the needs of his active breed (heeler/cattle dog). Mumbles is still very much a puppy and is VERY active, he can jump high so we do require applicants to have a fully fenced in yard 5' or higher for him. Mumbles is very unsure of other dogs, so he would do best in a home where he could get all the love and attention for himself. Mumbles LOVES his humans, loves to play and would love a home to cuddle up by your side after a nice run in the yard. He does great with kids, responds to recall, and listens to commands. She was the BESTEST MOM there could be. Despite her swatting at us we believed we could teach her to trust us. She is not the cat to pick up yet but you can pet her and say HI and she will love on any of your other cats. She is protective to all the little ones who come in and seems to be the girlfriend of all the older ones. She has such a sweet spot for every kitty here in the rescue. We would love to find that perfect home for Bessie so she does not have to spend her life here at the rescue. A home where she can wander and find her spot in the sun and maybe your heart too! This queenly kitty is a fluffy, 2-year-old ball of love just waiting to be adored. She'll purr up a storm and soak up all the love and attention you can give her. But let's rewind a bit and fill you in on her story. This tough cookie had a pretty rough start, fending off male cats on the streets and raising litter after litter of little ones. When a hero finally saved her from this tough life, she was in bad shape, underfed and caring for six little ones. Now, her little ones are all grown up, and Victoria is ready for her own happy ending. We're looking for a special family who will treat her like the royalty she is. PRINCESS' litter of 5 is a litter of pitty medium mix puppies who will be turning 8 weeks old and ready for adoption in the next few days! Ren is about a 9 week old large mixed breed puppy. He is doing well at crate training and house training but is still learning. He loves to play with his sister and the other resident dogs! He is now looking for his forever home! Rescued Treasures Pet Adoptions Email	Nahla (listed as Turkish Van) is a sweet and social cat. Even though she’s a senior, she’s adventurous and agile. She’s very gentle and is child friendly, having lived with children in the past. Nahla does well with other cats. Though she would likely do best with another mature cat, she currently plays with her very energetic foster brother and holds her own. She’s very attentive to people, loves pets (especially chin and ear scratches) and snuggling. At the same time, she is independent and likes to frequent her favorite sleeping spots.
